Address, site and maps
Fetch the boundary and terrain for your address and place the house. Norway today, more countries coming.

How to do it
Open the Site view and search for the address or property number (in Norway, for example 0301-207/80).
In Norway, the property boundary, terrain heights and neighbouring buildings come from Kartverket’s open data. More countries are coming.
Drag the house to move it, and drag the round handle to rotate it. It snaps parallel to the boundary.
Watch the distance to the boundary and the nearest building, the site area and the site coverage as you move it.
Good to know
- Rules on distance to the boundary differ between countries and zoning plans. In Norway, the Planning and Building Act § 29-4 asks for at least 4.0 m, unless the neighbour agrees or the zoning plan says otherwise.
- Choose a map, grey map, aerial photo or no background. The site plan goes straight onto the permit drawings.
